Do you only have a weekend
to discover Salò and Lake Garda?
The secret isn’t trying to see everything, but choosing the experiences that truly matter.
Friday evening:
your weekend begins
on the lakeside
promenade
After checking in, leave your bags and head to the centre of Salò.
A first stroll along the lakeside promenade is the perfect way to soak up the atmosphere of Lake Garda.
There’s no need to plan every moment: choose a spot for an aperitif, enjoy dinner, and take in the evening at a relaxed pace. Your weekend has only just begun.
Saturday:
Salò - history, flavours
and breathtaking views
Spend the morning discovering Salò.
Stroll through the charming streets of the historic centre, visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria Annunziata, and admire the elegant façades that tell the story of the town. Browse local boutiques and artisan shops, or explore the MuSa museum, dedicated to the history, culture, and identity of the area.
For lunch, choose a traditional restaurant and savour the authentic flavours of Lake Garda.
In the afternoon, continue to Gardone Riviera, visit the Vittoriale degli Italiani, or simply find a peaceful beach and relax by the lake.
Back at your accommodation, slow down: unwind in the garden, enjoy some time in the jacuzzi, and end the day with a leisurely dinner.
Sunday:
relax before
heading home
Start your Sunday at a slow pace with a leisurely breakfast and a few peaceful moments surrounded by nature.
Before heading home, enjoy one last walk along Salò’s lakeside promenade, stop for a coffee in the town centre, or visit one of the nearby villages to discover another beautiful corner of Lake Garda.
If you love nature, choose a short walk through olive groves and rolling hills. If relaxation is what you’re after, simply spend a few more hours outdoors, far from the noise and the pace of everyday life.
For lunch, treat yourself to a meal at a traditional restaurant or a lakeside terrace—the perfect way to say goodbye to the area.
The weekend may come to an end, but the feeling of wellbeing will stay with you long after you leave.
